Our Independent Living Units have six different designs, providing a variety of sizes and locations to choose from. Prices (entry payments) begin at $489,000, and units are purchased under a leasehold title, which is the established form of residence in Australian retirement villages. In a leasehold sale, strata fees and stamp duty are not applicable and the lessee owns their home for the period of their tenure. Upon vacation, the home may either be sold back to MWE or onsold with the approval of management.
Residents also pay an affordable weekly fee, which purely covers the costs of running the community. All expenses are transparent and fees will only ever be raised in consultation with the resident committee.
